Chapter 5 — Where We Come From: How We Draw Our Power

Chapter 5

Where We Come From — How We Draw Our Power

The universe is a unified field — a quantum void that is not empty but overflowing with energy, an ocean of pure possibilities. In this field, we are in constant communication and interdependence. Or better: our very existence lives, breathes, and arises within it — in a continuous movement and expression of information and possibilities.

Dr. Ervin Laszlo, founder and director of the General Evolution Research Group, calls this the Akashic Field — from the Sanskrit 'akasha,' meaning ether, sky, all of space. According to the ancient Indians, the Akashic Records are the continuous recordings of everything that has ever happened or is happening anywhere in the universe. The Akasha is the womb that contains everything.

Dr. Laszlo argues that life on Earth did not evolve through random mutation. Rather, from the very beginning, living organisms drew information and 'instructions' from the Akashic Field — information from other forms of life that had developed elsewhere in the universe. The evolution of life has been informationally guided, not merely biologically driven.

The Brain as Receiver

Modern science is reaching the conclusion that human consciousness does not depend on the brain. During near-death experiences — when the brain shows no activity — patients demonstrate full awareness. This is confirmed by countless scientifically documented accounts of events occurring inside hospitals that patients could not have known about, since they were in comas or clinically dead.

The brain is the receiver. It has the structural capacity — especially in the right temporal lobe — to communicate with its Source: the zero-point field, the Akashic Field. What we need is to tune ourselves — through meditation, prayer, love, and service to others — so that this receiver can fully connect with its Source.

To achieve anything we desire in life, we need three simple things: Strong Intention — the will, the desire, the absolute faith that our goal has already become reality. An Open Heart — flooded with love, peace, and compassion. And Freedom from Negative Emotions — so that the heart can open, and the light and love within us can finally shine.
